ENJOYING A BIG ENORMOUS MAJESTIC JESUS …right now in the flesh!
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL
I know we are those who celebrate the true meaning of Easter every day of our lives, but it’s always good to take time off from everyday routine and spend quality time together as a family. That’s just what we’ve been doing over the Easter hols and it has been great, but to think of life without knowing Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, is almost unimaginable to me now.
I had a strange thought these past few days, ‘can you imagine life if Jesus Christ had not died’, even though this may seem like a weird thought to you, my heart was instantly overwhelmed as I allowed myself a minute to ponder this…
I am so overflowing with gratitude for his coming to rescue us that the thought of life without Him was too much, probably because there is no life outside of Him.
‘In Him was life, and this life was the light of men.’ John 1:4
So in reality there is no life without Him. Wow, no life outside Him.
This is a universal life. A life that extends, invades and reaches deep into every man, woman and child on the planet. I used to think that this life only enters a man or woman upon believing in Jesus Christ, even though there may be an element of truth in this way of thinking, I cannot help feeling that this perspective is far too small and so unworthy of such a mighty, all consuming Jesus.
Many years ago when I was praying for revival to hit our land, the Lord saw fit to interrupt my intercession and tears lol and speak very clearly to me. The words he spoke never left me, and continue to underly my ever expanding understanding of what the gospel message really is. He told me that we (that is, the church as a whole) had demeaned the gospel. I immediately felt the tears dry up, and I knew that this was the beginning of a new way of thinking/being. Instead of thinking in terms of revival, in the sense that we were still in need of God to breakthrough into our world, we were still in need of ‘saving’ in a sense, a new quest entered my heart to find out what the gospel really was and to believe it against all odds.
‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written the just shall live by faith.’ Rom 1:16,17
These verses seemed to get burnt inside me. I am convinced that the gospel is the power of God, I don’t care if you think you have heard the gospel and you think you still need a revival, I am persuaded that the gospel is the power of God.
I know that the undiluted word of God, the pure gospel has the power to revive this whole planet, to stop the tide of darkness and bring peace and immortality to birth. Can a nation be born in a day?
I am so excited that we are beginning to see the purity of the gospel restored and lo and behold accompanying this wave of fresh bread is power, signs and wonders. As we are carriers of this purity, this true light, the gospel, we manifest His Glory. This Glory we are seeing manifest so strong is coming out of us…lol, out of our bellies…
‘In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.’ John 7:37,38
I am convinced we stand on the brink of the greatest move of God this planet has ever seen…not because there are 24/7 prayer groups in every corner of the church (I am not against prayer obviously) …please hear my heart…but because the gospel is being preached/believed and God ALWAYS confirms His Word with signs following, depending on what sign and what wonderment the people may need at a given time.
I believe in good ‘old fashion’ preaching/believing of the gospel….waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa and His glory manifesting in our everyday lives. These two have always been intimately joined together. The Spirit and the Word united in Jesus Christ. IN HIM.
The problem has not been in the uneventful methods that we may have used or not used but the potency of what we have believed.
The gospel is the power of God…how I love that. I am convinced. I love spending time studying the Scriptures, this is my enjoyment. I take great delight in them, they are my drink, my daily bread. I love the fact that it’s an old message, an ancient story but it’s new everyday. It’s a fresh intoxicating drink, even though it’s been maturing for thousands of years, in fact even before time began it was.
I have been thinking about the fact that this life, this universal life, did not begin when Jesus Christ came to the earth as a man, this was the moment of manifestation of this life. He came into this world at the end of the ages, the time of consummation of all things, but this life existed before time began.
‘It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you.’ 1 Peter 1:20
‘In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
He was present originally with God.
All things were made and came into existence through Him, and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.’ John 1:1-3
Oh the mystery of it all…
New thinking, new depths of grace and glory…greater manifestation of the truth!
He existed before time and space, what about us? When was our true beginning? Did we exist at the moment of conception or do we go back a lot further than that?
‘Even as [in His love] He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.’ Eph 1:4
‘Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began..
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.’ 2 Tim 1:9,10
Isn’t that amazing…somehow we existed in him before time began…this is a glorious mystery, but one when appreciated gives fresh depth and new meaning to our existence and beginning. Our life with God did not begin when we first said the ‘sinner’s prayer’ or not as the case may be? But He knew us before time began. He formed us in our mother’s womb and revealed Himself to us through the appearing of Jesus Christ. All that God is seen in Christ. And all that Christ is will be seen in us.
‘As He is so are we in this world.’ 1 John
There is a perfect flow, a God flow in whole of creation, a flow of family love, of family glory, sharing and manifesting down through the ages. First in Him, the Word, then in Adam and Eve and the Garden, then in Him, Christ Jesus the God man, now in us in Him, God’s people, the first fruits in the earth…then…then…ALL THINGS WILL WILL BE UNDER HIM, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL. (1 Corinth 15:28)
The whole of creation awaits the manifestation of the sons of God…this is the plan…this is the part we have in this beautiful unfolding of life, the life of God, manifesting His Glory now…out of our bellies rivers flowing, rivers of life.
I know it’s incredible, it’s almost too good to be true, but it is certainly the truth we believe. The more we believe these outrageous facts the deeper and more rested our lives become and there appears a natural supernatural flow of life.
God became flesh, His plan is to dwell and unite himself with flesh.
‘And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.’
This intimacy, this unity between God and man existed before the foundation of the world, it did not just happen when Christ was made manifest. This life with God, this romance, this love relationship goes way deeper than we have even realised, we began in God before time was. It is way more secure than ‘our commitment, our faithful walk, our passionate response’ and thank God he chose in Him before it all.
This fills me with a peace, a rest and confidence, and a perspective that explodes way beyond any one particular doctrine.
There is something he wants to impart to our troubles souls, our fearful and jittery christina lives …a conviction, a knowing that we began in Him. A sense of knowing and belonging that causes faith in God to be one that can move mountains…
Anyways, I have talked myself into a drunken state now…

We are being changed together as we gather…
Our …well actually your orphanage is near completion. This is a miracle. A total and absolute miracle of generosity and friendship, every step of the way. It’s looking beautiful and I can sense the joy and smile of Heaven upon this project. We feel humbled to be part of this, and together we will share our lives with these precious children, rescued from the garbage dumps, streets of Manila, and lives of desperate poverty.
Please feel free to give anytime towards this home, and come with us to the Philippines this Sept 17th-24th (go to the website for all the details), so many have already signed up but we have a few spaces left, so get your deposit in and come be blissed in Manila with us.
Dave is off to USA on a wild tour with John Crowder next month and we have our ecstatic full of love friend Georgian Banov coming for a weekend too. May 4th, 7:30pm and Sat 10:30-10pm again at holiday Inn, New Port. You gotta make that one. You can register for the day sessions below, just £10 to cover costs, but the evenings are free.
This will be off the charts for sure!

seriously, we love and appreciate you with all our hearts. We trust in God and our help is from Him, but we realise too that He has placed us upon your hearts and we are connected together in Him in a very real way. Most of our trips don’t make money, as the gospel is brand new to many places we go…LOL and only those who have been transformed by this gospel will want to see it spread to the furthest parts of the earth, so as we go, you support and uphold us in a practical way. So thank you, and we are confident that you will continue to see your own lives expand in every way possible.
