His Place
ʻHe that gives to the Poor lends to the Lord and He will give back what is given.ʼ We at the New Ecstatics are so excited about a new door and great favor which God has opened up to us. We have always identified with Gods great heart of love towards the poor and over the years have visited places such as India, Uganda, Yemen and Indonesia where we have sat with and loved upon the ʻPoorest of the Poor.ʼ For us this is the greatest privilege, to see Him amongst the poor and broken and to see their total inclusion in the Finished Works of the Cross. Nothing compares with hugging and kissing these precious ones.
What we are finding is that ministry is nothing more than an expression of Family. He is revealing the beauty of Family. He has grafted us in to the very heart of the Trinity, we now sit ʻTogetherʼ within the family of God and we lack nothing. One Heart, one Body. Ministry for us has now become nothing more than an expression of Family, manifesting here on the earth.
In February of this year God connected us with some amazing guys from Indiana USA. These guys owned land in the Philippines where they intended building their first orphanage. Whilst we were with them Gods power invaded our union with them real strong. It was so obvious that He had placed up with them in His Body for such a time as this. It was an amazing time and is a long story but out of our connection with them we were given a plot of land in the Philippines on which to build our first orphanage!
This year our ministry will be setting up our first Home for the Homeless and fatherless in the Philippines. As a charity we have already committed ALL of our Gift Aid monies from the Government to the poor. We already have over half of the finance needed to build our first ʻHis Placeʼ Orphanage. By the time we visit the Philippines in October our first Home will be in construction. The initial build will house 8 children and 2 Mamaʼs. Via our friends in America we already have everything we need in place, all contacts are in place, all paperwork is signed and we are now ready to roll. We are so excited!
This will be the first of many outreaches to share Gods heart and compassion with the poor and to see His smile beaming back at us. He loves His creation and is fully pleased with the works of His hands, He doesnʼt see the poor as sub-standard in any way but fully loved and included, fully flooded with His life and light. For us this isnʼt some ʻMercy Missionʼ but a great joy for us to connect with Him and to see His heart for creation manifesting through us and towards us via those we will connect with.
