Gloryfest
In January The New Ecstatics hosted their first ‘GloryFest’ at The Holiday Inn Newport South Wales. The event blew up with over 500 radicals attending enjoying together the wine of Gods Presence whilst feasting on the Lamb of God. About 20 nations were represented including guests from Brazil, Israel, America and all over Europe. There was such a sense of ‘Rest and Ease’ at the event, so many lives were transformed as His Glory manifested in a very tangible way. This is a reformation, not just another renewal or bunch of extended meetings but a total redefining of Christianity as we have known it as everything that is obsolete or irrelevant is removed. This great Gospel is causing the Sons of God to manifest, those who are free and liberated and enjoying a New Existence in Him.
At the event were Loaded magazine who wrote an amazing article in their April edition and a producer from the BBC who is putting together a documentary on the ‘Reformation of the Church.’ We also enjoyed having 8 of the Big Brother 11 Housemates with us including winner of BB 11 Josie Gibson, John James Parton and young Sammy Pepper LOL. We are anticipating again another groundswell of Media activity as together we push the boundaries of Christianity as we have known it and make room for the New to arise. Christianity is a Party, it was never meant to contain aspects of the party but the reality of our salvation is one long eternal celebration of all that He accomplished for us on the Tree!
So with great anticipation we are hosting ‘Gloryfest 2 – Glory to Glory,’ (September 8-10th 2011!)Again we know that as the Gospel is preached, a Gospel of ceasing from our labours, resting in the Finished works of the Cross and enjoying a new existence in Him that we will again see His power released! This train is bound for Glory, Hop on board NOW! With us again for this event are our Great friends John Crowder from Sons of Thunder ministries, Benjamin Dunn of Joy Revolution, our Holy Ghost Minstrel Godfrey Birtill and New Ecstatic Joanne Gravell. We are so excited to also have with us our great friend and Gospel Junkie Winnie Banov from Global Celebration! This thing is gonna pop.
The event will again be held at The Holiday Inn at Newport. This event proved to be by far the most accommodating place we have ever hosted an event. The Staff are all beautifully friendly, are so willing to serve and are more than happy with us returning and sharing out the love! At GloryFest many stayed at the hotel and had a blast. We have a special ‘Event Rate’ of £65 a night for up to 4 sharing a room (Breakfast included!) After you have registered for the event call the Holiday Inn and ask for the special rates for the room. This event is so easy to get to and is just off Junction 24 of the M4! This time around there will be 3 sessions on the Thursday and Friday BUT on the Saturday there will be just two day sessions and no night session, meaning 8 sessions in all! Registration will start at 10 AM daily and offerings will be taken at the evening sessions.
